First of all, I would like to thank all our customers and co-operation partners. You have assisted us in growing in our interesting and ever-changing sector to such an extent that Oilon has grown from a mid-sized to a large company! We are very pleased about this development, and believe that it will inspire us to serve you even better.

We have also put a lot of thought in our position in the energy and environmental business and found the means to secure our future and offer our customers as much benefits as possible. Your success will help us succeed.

We have selected our Mission: To offer environmentally friendly energy to our customers, and our Vision: To produce energy in line with the sustainable development principles for our customers in order to be able to develop into the direction we all deem necessary.

Since we aim to serve our customers well, we must also invest in developing our business. Product development is important, and we have invested five per cent of our turnover in product development for the entire time we have been doing business, almost fifty years. The latest major investment was expanding our already extensive product development laboratory. We added 1,000 sqm of space and received plenty of new opportunities for development of burners and heat pumps. We have installed large combustion technology testing boilers and equipment for developing the heat pump technology in the laboratory. This has greatly increased our development opportunities.

We have increased our production as our turnover has increased, and our small burner plant was transferred to Hollola, within a couple of kilometres from our Lahti plant. We increased the size of our production facilities by 2,500 sqm and were able to clearly improve the efficiency of our industrial burner plant. Our delivery reliability and capacity have clearly improved. Now we have even better opportunity to grow together with our customers without compromising our delivery reliability.

In addition to the product development investments and increased production capacity, we have strongly invested in developing our environmental technology business in line with our Mission and Vision. We have delivered more hazardous waste and landfill gas projects, conversions from coal to gas have increased and many of our clients have converted to using biogas. Bio-oil is a new interesting alternative with the current high fossil oil prices. You can easily take advantage of all these new possibilities with us.

The energy industry is a demanding sector when it comes to functionality of machinery, and thus good customer service is highly appreciated. This has stimulated us to invest in our good, effective and friendly customer service. We have improved our documentation system and availability of spare parts, and also added new maintenance experts in all our market sectors.  Customer feedback regarding our business and training has been delightfully praising.

We have been able to develop in this manner only because you, our customers and co-operation partners, have assisted us in the development with your good advise and also with your demands of even better performance.
